“How many times do I need to tell you not to go to that prohibited region?”
Mother was fuming.
“But Mom…”, little Rik started feebly.
“No but, Rik. Those regions are sealed by the Government since Third World War. Everyone knows the ruins store explosives that can destroy the world.”
“They saw me today. But I have been frequenting the place for days now.” Rik defended himself.
“There are no explosives Mom. It is just an old repository of printed documents. See I even brought back some home.” Rik explained as he pulled out the tattered books from his backpack.
