My son just asked me what our purpose in the world is.
I don’t know what to say to him.
Do I wax lyrical about a higher purpose, maybe God (although I am not keen on that one personally), maybe tell him to explore the idea of listening within himself. Discover the inner instinct, the whisper underneath the noise.
I believe the inner whisper of instinct is hard to hear, that most people fail to listen and wander aimlessly through life, unwilling to take the time to listen carefully to it.
Now my son is asking about how birds fly.
