If you would like to submit a story you can. While we are still young and small, we are unable to pay people for their work, but this will change as soon as the money allows it.

There are two types of stories you can submit.

100 Word Stories

These stories must be exactly 100 words long (excluding the title). These stories are the base of NibbleReads. When you submit these stories and they are not to standard, I will give some feedback and give you the opportunity to rewrite and resubmit the same story. I strongly believe in this project so I take all 100 word submissions seriously, so should your story be returned for a rewrite, please give it a go because more often than not the second attempt is a vast improvement.

Flash Fiction Stories

These stories must be between 500 and 1500 words.

While there are some exceptions to the word length, it is only given to regular writers to NibbleReads.

If you include a short bio with a link to your site, I will add that to the base of the story page with a link to your site.

Every story will be published on NibbleReads, on the NibbleReads app and in the NibbleReads eBooks that are released every now and again. Please make sure you are okay with this to happen. You are welcome to publish your story anywhere at anytime.

As soon as possible, we will be paying people for submissions, up until them, know that your story and links are being spread around the internet at my expense.

Please copy your story into the box below. Please remember that we expect the story to be exactly 100 words or between 500 and 1500 words the story will be rejected.

We reserve the right not to publish stories if they do not meet our guidelines or we do not consider them up to standard. The Editor’s decision is final.

Submitting a story grants NibbleReads the right to publish it. However each story remains the copyright of the author and you are free to submit it for publication elsewhere in addition to (although not instead of) NibbleReads.

Please be aware that we don't normally subsequently remove stories at the author's request.
