The Bully

The bully had Tony with two fingers on his earring, threatening to rip it off.

Tony’s eyes were wide, pleading for help.

All I can do is talk.

I said “He is scared of you. What else do you want?”

The bully was angry. Yet even through the anger, he was seeking an escape that didn’t involve ripping earrings off.

He yelled to me “Tell him to respect me”

“He will. Full respect”

The bully let go, anger filled but relieved.

Tony said “What an asshole”

The bully turned around, seeking a way out was no longer in his eyes.
