My question surprised the wealthy man.
“I wear silk while others wear rags.
I eat wonderful meals while others eat from bins. Women fawn over me for the gifts I give.
I keep my secrets to wealth so the poor keep paying for my lifestyle.
I am greedy, even my charities are for show, to say that I am wealthy but also give back.
I am a lie, I take money from the poor and keep it.
And someday I will die wealthy.
If life is reflected in wealth, I should be poor, starving and dressed in rags”.
